What is Abertay Animation Society?

The Abertay Animation Society is a group of people passionate about the art of animation and related disciplines. Come and join us to have some fun with some like-minded people!

Who is it for?

The society is open to everyone, no matter your skill level, background or course. Feel free to come and join us even if you just want to talk about your favourite animations! We will host a space to collaborate and socialise with other creatives and those interested in the fields of animation, VFX, technical art, concept art, modelling, narrative designers etc.

Why join?

As a member of the society you will be able to partake in activities such as animation jams, industry talks, and social events.

How much would it cost?

Yearly membership costs £2 for Abertay students and £3 for non-students.

This membership includes access to all jams, talks and social events.

Where and when do we meet? 🗓
We will be meeting every 2 weeks for either animation jams or social events. Venue and days TBC. We will also be hosting some speakers that may be on different days, these will be confirmed closer to their dates
