 What made you choose to join the Animation Society?

We created it :D

 

What's the first animated movie or show you remember falling in love with?

Thats hard because there were so many and I always loved the medium. The only one that stands out was WALL-E because I had it on DVD as a child, but it is impossible to pick one. Also old cartoon network cartoons hold a special place in my heart.  

 

What’s a scene from an animated film or show that always gives you chills?

Not scene but sound; the whistle of death in puss in boots... therefore every scene it appears in.

 

Which animation studio do you think has the most iconic style, and why?

Iconic? Pixar and Disney! No chance to mistake it and they keep it true to the original style across many films. Recently worth pointing out are obvious culprits; Fortiche with Arcane, Blue spirit with Blue eye samurai and the creators of TMNT; mutant mayhem. 

 

If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future, and why?

Potentially both; I would love to see ancient Grece and Rome or Egypt as well as experience renaissance in Europe or 80’s and 90’s in the States and experience the birth of modern video games and animation. For the future I would need to think about it very hard because I am worried what I would see.  

 

What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you? 

It is impossible to choose one but the one that comes to mind first over past few years is Frostpunk. The art style, atmosphere, concept and gameplay it is just breathtaking. 

 

If you could have any animal as a pet, regardless of practicality or legality, what would you choose and why? 

Nifflers from HP universe seem great!
