Your President - Dounia Allaiouti 💜

The Student President sits as Vice Chair of the Trustee Board: the governing body of the Students' Association. They actively promote the ideas and needs of students and run campaigns.

They also engage nationally in topics which concern Abertay students, and represent students in University Court: Abertay's governing body.

Hi there, I'm a 3rd Year Criminology and Policing student and I enjoy cooking, reading and playing old, nostalgic games – I'm currently working through the Professor Layton series and Rayman (6 year old me would be so proud!).  
 
During my time at Abertay, I have worked in numerous occasions with the university and the Abertay Students Association: I have been Class Rep for the past two years, Division Rep of Sociology during 2023-24 and a Student Trustee. I have also worked with the Careers Service the past two years to bring about the Career and Volunteers Fair, which has been well received by those who attended. The only goal haven’t achieved yet… is to learn how to touch grass more than once a year.
