What made you choose to join the Games Development Society?

I wanna create more variety within AGDS events, and events that are representative of a wider range of disciplines.

What initially sparked your interest in game development, and what are some of the most rewarding aspects of creating your own video games?

I’ve been interested in game development for as long as I’ve been playing games, but it was the YouTuber Sebastian Lague that really inspired me to dive fully into it and give it my all. The most rewarding part of game development is collaboration, nothing beats a game jam with friends :D

Can you share a particular games development project that you’re proud of?

I’m particularly proud of my coursework project for the first year Games Programming module, in which I made a fighting game with real-time online networking. This was my first-time diving into this infamously complex topic and I’m very happy with what I managed to achieve.

What makes a good video game, in your opinion?

A game should be fun from the moment you start it up; the quicker the player can start playing and having fun, the better!
