What made you choose to join the Abertay University Law Society?

I had always wanted to join the law society as I am passionate about law and seeking a community of like-minded individuals to engage with, joining the Law Society is a great way to connect with peers who share the same interests and aspirations.

Being part of such a society can provide valuable networking opportunities, access to legal events, and a platform to enhance your knowledge and skills in the field of law. There has been many trips and network events which has benefited a lot of members.

I would tell all new first year to consider joining, it could be a fantastic way to further your legal education and build a strong foundation for your future career.

What made you pursue a career in law?

As it can be a rewarding path that allows you to advocate for justice and make a positive impact in society. I’ve always wanted to be able to help people who are struggling. Whether it's defending the rights of others, working in corporate law, or exploring other legal fields, the legal profession offers a diverse range of opportunities.
