What made you choose to join the Abertay University Law Society?

I chose Abertay University Law Society because of its extensive links to my course and its ability to support its members socially and academically.

What areas of law are you most interested in or passionate about?

Criminal law, personal injury law, and medical law.

What specific activities or events organised by the Law society did you find most useful and enjoyable?

The firm insight days are a great way to find out if a specific law firm is for you, or equally not for you! Of course, all of the social events are also really enjoyable as you get to have a good time with your friends!

If you could speak to a famous lawyer, alive or deceased, who would it be and what would you discuss?

It would probably be Herbert Kerrigan KC, the longest serving advocate in Scotland and Abertay’s guest judge at the inaugural Dundee Moot Cup competition this year. I’d probably begin by discussing his career and achievements, and finish off by asking him why he did choose Abertay as the winners!
