What made you choose to join the Tabletop Games Society?

I enjoyed meeting to play board games pre-pandemic and during covid I started to make my own games and decided to study game design at Abertay. The tabletop society was a great opportunity to play games and meet people here at Abertay.

What’s your all-time favourite board game and why?

Terraforming Mars I think is the game I have played and enjoyed the most, it offers a pretty complex experience with various viable strategies and replay ability as well as a good mix of random chance and player choice.

If you could combine two board games to create the ultimate gaming experience, which ones would you choose and how would they work together?

I would combine the board and resource control from Scythe with the (possibly too in depth) battle mechanics of Battle Tech to create the pinnacle in old timey mech battlers.

What’s the most challenging board game you’ve ever played and what made it so difficult?

Ark Nova, so many icons.

If you could bring any board game to life and play it in real-world setting, which game would you choose and where would you play it?

Fury of Dracula, where me and three friends just travel the cities of Europe while fifth player is just kinda bored.

Would you rather have a pet dinosaur or a pet dragon, and why?

Dragon, basically just a dinosaur that can fly, breath fire and maybe talk sometimes.

What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you?

The aesthetic and soundtrack of Fable 2 has always been a favourite of mine, it’ just a fun little world to be in.
