What made you choose to join the Business Society?
I chose to get involved with the Business Society because I wanted to help create a more engaging community within the business school and courses. I also wanted to network more within Abertay and meet others that may have more experience in the areas I’m interested in and make friends.
If you could instantly master one business skill, what would it be?
If I could instantly master one business skill, it would be the ability to easily speak in front of large groups of people.
What’s the most interesting business idea or startup you’ve heard of recently?
The most interesting business idea or startup I’ve heard recently was my mother’s idea. She has started up a small business to help people open the right credit cards to gain travel points and miles. Once, they’ve opened the cards and hit the sub (only using the card for everyday purchases and instantly paying it off), she helps them book any flights, hotels, etc. using just the points and miles.
What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you?
Disney Dreamlight Valley! There are so many different ways to play and things to achieve.
What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done or would like to do in the future?
The most adventurous thing I’ve ever done, I would say is moving to Scotland from the U.S. and transferring to Abertay without knowing much about Scotland and never being here before.
