Why did you want to become a Department/Community Rep?

I have enjoyed learning and being part of Abertay University, creating connections with fellow students and staff. Abertay has shown me the people and a community that allows myself and others to foster and cultivate our passion further. I want to give back by helping others to also enjoy their experience in Abertay through providing a voice that will listen and communicate their feedback, working to enhance their student life here.

What's the one piece of advice you would give to students you represent?

With university and the load of coursework, it can sometimes be easy to be disheartened, but you should not let that keep you from cultivating this passion of yours. Go meet and talk to other people who share your interest, whether that be your fellow classmates, staff, or any other industry professionals. This way not only you are reminded of why you first chose to come to university to pursue your interest, but to also continue to grow that passion and make something out of it.

What do you like to do in your free time? 

I love to Sing (just about anywhere) !! Play me some songs and you bet I will probably start singing along to it . I also love to go out to nature (when it is not cold) whether I am biking or just walking, to enjoy the view and atmosphere around me. And mostly, I love just finding fun activities to do around such as joining local events or volunteering.

If you could magically become fluent in any language, which one would you choose and why?

Definitely Arabic, it is such as beautiful language, and I am also trying to learn it so it would be great if I could just skip that step and immediately become fluent in it.
