What made you choose to join the Abertay Islamic Society?
To engage more with the Muslim community in Abertay.
How has being a part of the Abertay Islamic Society impacted your faith journey and your relationship with Allah?
It has provided a supportive community to strengthen my faith by sharing experiences and knowledge of Islam with new people and perspectives.
How has being a part of the Abertay Islamic Society influenced your relationships with other students on campus, both within and outside the society?
I have been able to meet new people and also become more confident in talking to different people outside of my space.
If you could envision one impactful initiative or project for the Abertay Islamic Society, what would it be and how do you think it would benefit the members and the broader campus community?
We could possibly organise community service projects that can benefit both society members and the broader campus community by showcasing Islamic values through volunteering and social responsibility.
If you could have any superpower for a day, what would you choose and how would you use it?
Teleportation, so I don’t have o walk or travel long journeys, I’m just there.
What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done or would like to do in the future?
I would like to travel around the world to many different countries within a year.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want to have with you?
Lighter, tent, chocolate.
