What made you choose to join the Aberay Islamic Society?

To meet new people who are like-minded and feel closer to the Muslim community at Abertay.

 

How has being a part of the Abertay Islamic Society impacted your faith journey and your relationship with Allah?

It has impacted my faith in a positive way when having conversations with like minded people about the deen, and also learning more about others perspectives. /p>

 

How has being a part of the Abertay Islamic Society influenced your relationships with other students on campus, both within and outside the society?

It has helped grow my confidence when meeting and interacting with new people.

 

If you could envision one impactful initiative or project for the Abertay Islamic Society, what would it be and how do you think it would benefit the members and the broader campus community?

We could organise a charity event to raise money for the less fortunate brothers and sisters around the world for example in Palestine.

 

If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future, and why

I would probably go to the past, to relive some memories.

 

If you could have any superpower for a day, what would you choose and how would you use it?

I would have teleportation no more waiting in ques of traffic, and I could travel anywhere in the world

 

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want to have with you?

Tent, pizza, a lighter.
