Only students who will be at Abertay in the academic year 2024/25.
To be a Department Rep you must be a current Abertay University student and must be studying in the department relevant to the position you run for.
Use Unitu, the Student Voice Platform, to interact with students in your Department.
Attend & take an active part in Student Voice Fora (SVF) meetings. - approximately 60-90 minutes per semester
Attend and take an active part in the Student Representative Council (SRC) - approximately 60-90 minutes per month.
Represent your community at key meetings with the University, during campaigns and policy discussions outside of SRC.
Communicate & feedback regularly to the students you represent.
Communicate regularly with the Class Reps in your department, as well as with other Deparment Reps.

Help to promote Abertay University Students’ Association campaigns
In your role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop advocacy, communication and meeting skills.
Meet new people.
Gain a Department Rep Certification on your HEAR
